Directions to the ANAMED from the airport

1. HAVATAŞ buses: Every half hour 13TL
This is the official bus that departs just outside the arrival terminal every 30 mins. You have to take the one going to Taksim. For more information about shuttle hours, please visit Havataş official website at .

This will take you to Taksim Havataş stop (very close to Taksim square).

If you get off at Havaş bus stop near Taksim Square, and you do not want to carry your luggage through Istiklal street, (15min. walk), take a cab (which has a cab stop sign on its door, not just the plate number). You should get off the cab at Tepebasi - Odakule, the easy entrance to Istiklal street by car.

Address for to the driver:
Odakule (Mesrutiyet Cad.) – Tepebaşı / Taksim (Cost: approx. 7 TL)

2. TAXI : Cost approx. 45-50 TL
There are 2 ways to get to the ANAMED by car. The Odakule entrance to Beyoglu is 1 min. walking distance from the ANAMED and an easier stop for cars at any time of the day.

After you get out of the cab at the Odakule building walk through a covered walkway which passes under the Odakule building and ends on the pedestrian street called Istiklal Street. ANAMED is a large building on the opposite side of Istiklal which is called Merkez Han and also has a sign indicating that it is part of Koç University. There is a public entrance to the Merkez Han on Istiklal, but if you are checking in as a guest or arriving after 5:30 PM you will have to walk across Istikal street and then you will then see in front of you a side street called the Nur-i Ziya Street. (If you have your back to the Odakule the Nur-i Ziya street should be just in front of you on the opposite side of Istiklal street.) Another landmark is the Ziraat Bank which is just on the corner of the junction between Nur-i Ziya and Istiklal. To get to the guest entrance of the ANAMED walk about 10 meters down Nur-i Ziya Street and the ANAMED is the first door on the left, number 5 Nur-i Ziya. There is a sign for ANAMED and the Netherlands Institute in Turkey (NIT) at the entrance.
